Another brand new year had started taking flight in front of you and it is already the end of February. More than 50 days are gone off the New Year and winter has also bid good bye. But, what about the status of your resolution, you took to reduce some weight? I am sure, you have missed it again to get some time out of your ‘busy’ schedule and once again you are complaining about your protruding tummy. Let’s see, if you are doing these mistakes once again:
Going to gym?
Are you postponing the resolution once again? No, at least not this time. If not for your dream partner, at least do it to control your running stomach. I mean, this resolution has been in to your to-do-list since your 10th standard, I guess. So instead of dreaming to join gym with a chiseled bodied gym partner, start making it a part of your daily schedule. To gear you up for the gym session, you can try some simple steps like put on your gym clothes or try your clothes on or get some nice gym gear to bribe yourself with.
Having breakfast?
I know it all started with your mom running behind you with a glass of milk and you throwing it out of the window at a blink of her eyes. But, now you are grown up and you should take it seriously. In a report, the Weight-control Information Network says that if you regularly have breakfast, the chances of overeating get lessened. Experts also opine that you are likely to trigger bad eating habits throughout the day, as cravings develop and you look for quick-fix fast foods often. Also, healthy breakfast enhances your metabolism and increases your energy throughout the day.

Stopped having junk food?
If I say, JUNK FOOD is nothing but an evil, you all will slap me on face. I mean even while writing this it’s running behind my mind, if I am speaking out my mind. Because, it is almost impossible for us to resist our junk food crave in the evening when we take the road to home. All your love for those luscious piece of pizza or that crispy chicken whooper king burger is killing your urge to have healthy food. Research has found that people consuming fast food are less likely to eat fruits, vegetables, milk etc. This change in eating habits can easily lead to obesity.
Going for a walk?
Well, I know how sweet your communion with alarm clock has been since your childhood. LOL! But, waking up early morning is actually needed to keep you healthy and fit. Going for a walk in the morning is a low-impact activity that can help you burn calories and build muscles. For better result you can pair it up with a diet of nutritious foods in moderation. Make sure you walk for at least 30 minutes at a time. To start with, go for three days per week. You should walk as quickly as you feel comfortable and can slow down when it is needed.
Sleeping on time?
While a huge number of youngsters have made it a habit to go to bed late night, they are only giving an invitation to bad health. Research has found that people remaining awake till late night is likely to gain more weight than the ones going to sleep early. They are prone to have more snacks and hence more weight. They have irregular breakfast and heavy snacks, rich in carbohydrate, protein and fiber that makes them heavier.
I wish, reading this post will make you realize that you are already late and you take a note of what all we have discussed. I know, it will not happen all of a sudden, but you have to do it. After all, it is about your health.
